as costumes and models. We decided to make sure that the sun-glasses
were the real focus of the evening, while the show remained
highly entertaining.
Working with a group of professional models and hip-hop dancers,
the end product was a combination of performance art meets fashion
show. To keep the eyewear as the main focus for the evening,we
stayed away from designing any elaborate costumes and opted
for topless talents with latex lettering on their chests.
Once all talents were lined up together on stage the letters
spelled out the brand name, MANIAC. Perfect photo opportunities
were created as Mr. Simon Yam and Mr. Mui Q Wai joined the talents,
which were featured in every local newspaper the following day.
In the end a strong, sexy and extremely provocative program
was achieved to the delight of the client, guests and press.
